Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy

The schedule shows that, in October, November and December 2018, the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy will continue to sail from Port Canaveral. The Dream will offer three-and four-night cruises to the Bahamas, while the Fantasy will offer seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean.

All the cruises out of Port Canaveral will stop at Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

The schedule also shows that the Disney Magic, which will be based in New York, will have three seven-night cruises in November 2018 that will make a port-of-call stop at Port Canaveral. Each passenger on those cruises will receive a one-day Walt Disney World Park Hopper ticket, and round-trip transportation between the ship and the Disney theme parks.

Disney to base three ships at Port Canaveral in 2018

Port Canaveral Chief Executive Officer John Murray said the port “enjoys a very strong relationship with Disney Cruise Line. We are proud to be the home port for their two newest and largest ships, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, and pleased to be welcoming back Disney Wonder seasonally in 2018. We are proud of our cruise partners, and look forward to their growth plans for the future.”

In October, Disney announced that the Wonder will be based at Port Canaveral from Feb. 8 through April 8, 2018.

Disney Cruise Line operates four ships: the 4,000-passenger Dream and Fantasy, and the 2,700-passenger Magic and Wonder.

Disney Cruise Line in March 2016 announced plans to add two ships to its four-ship fleet: one in 2021, the other in 2023. It has not announced where those ships will be based.
